Internet Tools

The following queries can be performed on this web-site. Where possible there are cross-links between the various queries. From these pages you are able to lookup:

I have put some more work into the searching and it will now look up a lot more domains than previously. If your results come out with no coloured boxes then it means I don't (yet) know how to parse the raw output, but I probably will soon.

Currently this set of webpages is able to understand the output of over 110 NIC (Network Information Centre) whois servers located around the world. That's over 25 different output formats. More are added each day.

NSlookup Query Tool

This form will perform various NSlookups (Name Server lookups) to find out various information about a particular host or domain name. By entering a domain name below, you can find out the domains name, web, mail and ftp servers. It tries to intelligently guess if you entered in a domain or host too.

Below the domain is the SPF (Sender Policy Framework) entries that can tell mail servers where email for the domain should be coming from.

Problems? Suggestions?

I'm always looking for suggestions and new NICs to add to the system. If your favourite NIC is not working here let me know. Or if you have a problem with a particular lookup I'd like to know that too.
