I have put some more work into the searching and it will now look up a lot more domains than previously. If your results come out with no coloured boxes then it means I don't (yet) know how to parse the raw output, but I probably will soon.

Currently this set of webpages is able to understand the output of over 110 NIC (Network Information Centre) whois servers located around the world. That's over 25 different output formats. More are added each day.

IPv6 Prefix Whois Lookup

You can use this page to look up IPv6 address prefixes. You will need to either put a full address in or end the prefix with two colons :: so the servers know it is a prefix.

ARIN has some stupid setup where you need to query for the address and then query for the returned name. There is a duplicate in their database which holds all IPv6 addresses and is assigned to them.
